Sameer’s presentation highlighted how IPFIX, or NetFlow, traditionally used for monitoring network traffic flows, can be significantly enhanced by incorporating rich metadata. This enrichment enables network operators to gain deeper visibility into network activities, offering advanced insights into traffic patterns, application performance, and potential security threats.
